Today's star settings
Today, Monday, September 14, 2026, we find ourselves firmly rooted in Virgo Season. The Sun, shining brightly in the mutable earth sign of Virgo, emphasizes themes of precision, service, analysis, and refinement. This celestial alignment encourages us to pay attention to details, optimize our daily habits, and strive for efficiency in our work and personal lives. It's a time for practical improvements and discerning choices.
Adding a dynamic counterpoint to Virgo's grounded energy is the Moon, currently waxing in the mutable fire sign of Sagittarius. This Sagittarius Moon brings a desire for exploration, truth-seeking, and a broader perspective. It instills a sense of optimism and a yearning for freedom, learning, and new experiences. While Virgo urges us to organize, Sagittarius prompts us to look beyond immediate confines and consider the bigger picture or future possibilities.
This combination creates an interesting tension: the practical, analytical focus of Virgo meets the expansive, philosophical drive of Sagittarius. We might feel pulled between meticulously planning and impulsively venturing, or between honing skills and seeking new knowledge. The dominant elements of Earth (Virgo Sun) and Fire (Sagittarius Moon) suggest a need to ground our fiery inspirations with realistic steps, or conversely, to ignite our practical efforts with passionate purpose. The prevalent mutable modality (both Virgo and Sagittarius are mutable signs) indicates a day ripe for adaptability, adjustment, and making transitions, encouraging us to remain flexible in our pursuit of growth and understanding.
